Gas Cleaning and Acid Making System Commissioned Successfully in Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel Co., Ltd.
On January 14, 2016, 1# sintering desulphurized enriched offgas was formally supplied to the Sintering Offgas Cleaning - Acid Making System of Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel Co., Ltd., which is an EPC project of NERIN. The acid making system has operated continuously and stably under the ultralow load operating condition where SO2 content in the desulphurized enriched offgas is about 20% of the design data. The project performance gets high appraisal from Baosteel Zhanjiang.
The Sintering Offgas Cleaning - Acid Making System of Baosteel Zhanjiang started its equipment installation in June, single unit and single system testing in October, concentrated sulphuric acid feeding on December 8, and catalyst packing on December 25, 2015. The successful commissioning of the system is another contribution to NERIN’s EPC project examples in offgas cleaning and acid making, which has provided us with more opportunities and experience in effectively improving the startup and commissioning technique and training the team.
